For Retailys we designed and developed a comprehensive ERP dashboard application for managing retail operations. The system provides a real-time overview of sales, inventory, orders, and the performance of individual sales channels.
Key project outcomes
Retailys Dashboard is a central control panel for e-commerce and retail companies that aggregates data from different sales channels — their own e-shop, marketplace platforms, and brick-and-mortar stores — into a single clear interface.
The application allows managers to track key metrics in real time, automate warehouse processes, and optimize pricing strategy based on market data.
- Centralized dashboard with a real-time overview of sales data
- Automated inventory management with predictive replenishment
- Multi-channel management for e-shop, marketplaces, and brick-and-mortar stores
- Advanced analytics and reporting with export to PDF and Excel
- Integration with accounting systems and shipping carriers
Challenges & solutions
Retailys needed to replace several disconnected tools with one unified solution. The main challenge was integrating data from dozens of different sources and presenting it in a clear form for fast decision-making.
Project challenges:
The system had to process thousands of transactions a day from different sales channels and provide up-to-date overviews without significant delay, even under high load during seasonal peaks.
Aggregating data from diverse sources
Data arrived in different formats from e-shops, marketplace platforms, POS systems, and accounting software. A universal data model and a reliable synchronization pipeline had to be built.
Performance under high load
The dashboard must display up-to-date data even during seasonal peaks, when the system processes thousands of orders per hour. Overview latency could not exceed 2 seconds.
Our solution:
We built the architecture on an event-driven system with Apache Kafka for reliable data stream processing. The frontend uses React with virtualized tables and charts for smooth rendering even of large datasets.
- Event-driven architecture with Apache Kafka for real-time data processing
- React frontend with virtualized components for working with large datasets
- Predictive AI module for automatic inventory replenishment
- REST and GraphQL APIs for flexible integration with external systems
Project Q&A
The system supports integration with custom e-shops (Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop), marketplace platforms (Amazon, Allegro, Mall), and POS systems for brick-and-mortar stores.
Data is updated in real time thanks to the event-driven architecture. Sales and orders appear in the dashboard within seconds of being created in the sales channel.
Yes, the system includes a configurable report builder that lets you create custom overviews, charts, and KPI dashboards without any programming.
The system uses role-based access control (RBAC) with granular permissions. Each user only has access to the data and features relevant to their role.
